I have a 0XXX trip built by CS. The last day is a DHD only day. I was looking to see if there was an earlier flight and there are actually 2 earlier DLs (mainline and RJ). If I take the next earlier flight it still provides over 10h of rest.

Because the rotation as built doesn't get me back as soon as possible is it an illegal rotation? Or am I missing something that could possibly make it a legal rotation?
It's not just 10 hours needed, you need to get the PWA rest depending on your previous duty day - sometimes that's more than 10 hours. (Ie, off a long international)

If I call CS are they going to just "fix the glitch" and call it good?

Does this fall under the "errors and omissions" part of the PWA?

TIA

Are they all non stops or do they have connections? IIRC the times that matter are the arrival times back at your base - not the departure times.

If you let them know less than 2 hours prior to sign in, I believe you get a couple hours added to time card and have to fly it.

I always call and take the no op option.
Worked! Thanks! I took the no-op option.

I assume this is a line holder? Hypothetically if assigned this as a reserve how does this change?

REG or RES: you call and tell them about the illegal rotation and they may or may not remove it.....as long as not exception to FNGL, then you FNGL and file STS with ALPA.

REG: if they do drop it, they pay protected with zero recovery obligation....free to pick up WS or GS or IA or QS or PSB if you so desire.

RESL no rotation guarantee so no soup for you....go back on LC.

Insulting management on social media shortly after some pilots were reprimanded for what they posted on Social Media?
