Amen.

If we're slightly uncomfortable in the front during boarding (external air connected but useless), it's pit-staining awful in the back.

Start the GD APU.

The FOM provides guidance about passenger comfort.

Does anyone know what’s driving all the flight cancelations today? A friend just had his flight canceled and a quick check shows Delta with 70 cancelations so far. The other majors are in single digits.

It snowed in SLC in the first time in over a month, so everyone called in sick with the powder flu

This is correct, and as usual, Sailing doesn't tell the whole story. There is the "HR file" and what used to be the "carry over" or "hand over" file. The later is what the various CPOs used to write down in a little book, stick it in the desk drawer to hand over to the next guy that comes in. They liked that idea so much they computerized it, and now it's called the "PIST" for pilot information support tool, or something like that.

If you are going to chase this rabbit, you need to be very, very specific with your request.

And yet it’s so inconsequential and petty that it can’t even see the light of day in an HR file. If management catches a pilot doing something legitimately wrong, they don’t hide it away in a secret file.

“PIST” is reserved for contractually-protected acts that they wish we couldn’t do, as well as useless stats that they can’t actually hold against us.
