My reference to ignoring company requests at the table until pay/compliance issues are resolved pertains to right now, outside of section 6 negotiations. We are under no obligation to negotiate currently.

What language would provide relief during an IROP? Allowing the company to track our iPads? Waiving reroute pay?

On the Saturday following the start of the meltdown I flew an empty airplane and left 110 angry pax behind because the company could not find flight attendants following a layover. I fail to see how anything the union could offer would have changed this.

Dual-qual all pilots as FA's. Duh.

I saw quite a bit of “not my problem” attitudes when help could have easily been provided. Saw couple of fa’s Dhing. When someone asked them to work a short flight at the same time going to the same location, they said no thanks, I’m already seated.

or to let a captain be a captain and make some consequential decisions. Heard of a flight that cancelled because the crew and agents couldn’t get a hold of the proper authority to allow a nonrev FA to work the flight. 180 pax cancelled. Everyone saw it coming and it was an easy fix but we’ve been forced into “not my problem” since the company has changed so much of the operation into an HQ-centered op rather than allow station directors or gate agents or captains to execute REASONABLE solutions to unanticipated problems.

Pretty sure that’s their right to do so. Just like pilots DHing in the back choosing not to fly a flight, if not legally or properly notified.

I've had something similar (but not exactly the same) recently.

Filled out an FCR.

Generally curious to see where it goes.
