Any "Latest & Greatest about Delta?" Part 2

Just curious: any etiquette rules or norms about looking at people’s schedules? As a perma reserve bidder I track trip coverage in my category very closely so anytime someone picks up a trip in an unusual way I check their schedule largely out of curiosity and to possibly discern unique/clever bidding/pickup strategies. I know it pings on icrew that I looked at it. I have no issues with anyone should they want to look at my (boring) schedule.

The why is irrelevant, because the fact is they sometimes do. It’s been years, but I’ve done it, and still have no clear idea why “they” decided not to exercise the “may disapprove”.

The question I have is, if you're crew scheduling, why would you ever suddenly permit an APD if coverage is not above 100% if you don't have to especially when pilots on SC poke them in the eye by taking 2+ hours to show for a short notice assignment not out of need but....because my "contract"
FIFY....yeah it's curious isn't it?

If I’m considering bidding on an AE, I check people’s schedules multiple times throughout the month who are at the same relative seniority to see what mine would be like.
People check mine all the time. Doesn’t bother me in the least.

But posters have said that even if they are sitting right there(because they are a commuter) they will not show for at least 2 hours.
Even you understand the difference.
I thought Halloween was over....why the ridiculous "straw man"?

You really haven’t read your PWA.
“A short call pilot must be promptly available for contact“
“A regular pilot who is removed from a rotation due to IROPS [ … ] and they are notified of such removal after they have reported for their original rotation will be immediately available for contact“
“A VAS period is a period of availability in which a pilot will remain on the airport premises for a period of up to six hours (the standby window), during which they may be required to depart immediately on flying assigned”
but okay, keep up the good work shaming pilots who aren’t dropping everything to get to work in 15 minutes or actually exercising their PWA right.
