No more sky priority when we non-rev? Noticed they’ve been assigned Zone 7, which means you’re going to have to check your bag as a commuter 9/10 times if you go with this zone.
and they’ve gotten worse at upgrading non-revs… 5 open seats in comfort and 0 non-revs got them

I don’t mind them clearing me into a window or aisle seat in Main when there are nothing but middles left in Comfort+ though. That should be a preference that non-revs can specify, just as revenue or NRPS passengers on the Comfort+ upgrade list already can.

Every station that I’ve non-reved from recently has cleared non-revs at the absolute last minute, even if plenty of seats were available ahead of time. Boarding zone didn’t matter at all in those cases, as every revenue passenger was already on board.

But of course you know nobody has suggested that right?
But posters have said that even if they are sitting right there(because they are a commuter) they will not show for at least 2 hours.
Even you understand the difference.
I thought Halloween was over....why the ridiculous "straw man"?

With our current PWA there is an arguement for no short call. Long call covers open trips 2 days prior and VAS covers any immediate need which is same day. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a shift eventually to these two forms of "reserve" (VAS can be a regular line add on) as the durability montra is driven home. Especially with known IROPS like snow storms and hurricanes. We execute very well outside of IROP disruptions and the focus is doing better when IROPs occur.

I agree but there are a lot more tools in the toolbox that haven't been tried. I'm sure I'm not the first person to give this a thought. Things are negotiated into and out of the PWA intentionally with a purpose. The key is voluntary!
We did 2 day coverage and that was taboo for generations so...

You can't be forced into VAS. Voluntary is literally part of the name.
