Thus means at the start of a rotation, which of the following would you be okay starting in:

2.A.54. “Co-terminal” means the following airport combinations:

a. DCA/IAD

b. DFW/DAL

c. IAH/HOU

d. JFK/EWR/LGA

e. LAX/BUR/LGB/ONT/SNA

f. MIA/FLL

g. ORD/MDW

h. SFO/OAK/SJC

You can't. You'd need work station begin your city but we don't have that.

I'm not sure about slips, but in PBS you can use "Work start /end station".

This got me thinking… Spirit has the X and Y list, essentially allowing their pilots to pick up broken trips in a “spirit city”. Allows commuters to pick up some open time from where they live and provided a bit of flexibility for scheduling to cover a last minute snafu. Is there a reason we don’t have a similar provision here and all premium trips seem to need to start in a base? Spirit pilots found value in it and it was a hugely popular contractual provision among commuters and in base pilots alike.

that seems like it would heavily disincentivize new bases if we could do this.

For this reason I’m fine with keeping the requirement that trips must start and end in a base. If they want the ability to recover trips from a city, have a pilot base there.

Saves a DH and makes a specific city a GS killer.

Typo on my part, they’re not picking up open time, they’re picking up premium flying. Essentially GS.

Scheduling is allowed to pull a pilot in an outstation to cover a flight (say a 320 pilot that lives in AUS and a pilot gets sick there on a layover). To do so requires them to build a legal rotation and 23m7 pay the senior skipped pilot.

Looking at using our spirit passes this fall to go to Europe. Can we pay to up grade to comfort, premium select or delta one after we book flights.
