RR question for the experts...

I was RRd into an extra day on my last trip. I did all the math and think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm owed under L.4 and L.8.

However, figuring out what I'm owed based on the Note 4 Grievance Settlement has me completely lost. Is the double pay on all RR pay or just some parts of RR pay or is it more like how a GS pays? According to DALPA is the Co still out of compliance?

Also, yes I read the Co's email saying NO but I'm operating under the assumption that maybe this will be ruled in our favor for once and they will have to actually pay us.

Not upset, just disagree with your position. Maybe your unit is different than mine.

Blanket sts.

Riiight. Until the next “thing” happens and everyone gets back on board the TYFYS train, followed by “Hey, can you take orders?” if adversity hits the seniority list.

(I can’t stand that term, btw).
lol, valid. Ive had to work hard to take sts out of my vocabulary. Ive said it instinctively in not so optimal situations 🫣🤦‍♂️

not losing sleep over it, just pointing out human nature… I would literally do the same thing to get artificial seniority

What he's advocating for is on par with punishing the entire group for a few sick leave abusers. To think people are hanging on to reserve jobs so they can manipulate their Delta schedule via MLOA is asinine. It screams of bitterness.

Reserve/guard work more days a month for less pay. I know my take home increased drastically after I retired (don't have that pension yet either). I have more free days to pick up those GS and now SS (which didn't even exist before I retired). Nothing like sitting at drill watching all those GS go out and back on Monday when there's silence. But that was the gig.
Thee positive impacts of military service on staffing and premium pay are largely ignored or countered with one off examples. Even if there was a green slip on monday, would you really want to give up your only 5 days off for the entire month?

I'm not touching the rest as this dead horse has been beaten to a pulp. But to your last point, it was pretty common to walk up to the ops desk (only place with good cell signal) and see five or more phones lined up behind where the SOF sat. SOF had an additional duty of paging us if ARCOS called 🤣.

Are you saying junior pilots go to the fourth floor (project pilots, tech pilots, chiefs) and then pick up trips for extra pay?

instead of being 99% and stuck on reserve with no weekends off.. they just snipe trips from open time on their off days, yes. Some do

Don't even waste brain bytes thinking about it. The company will never pay out.
