Airline pilots always seem to hold this unhealthy obsession with someone able to get a, “better deal” than them. I don’t get it. If I fly with a person working their angle I like it. More power to you.

If anything all these inefficiencies drive staffing. More pilots = more leverage.
SS, credit surfing, OOBWS, 2-hour NC SC, all above board and fully within the PWA (but worthy of discussion.) Dropping mil leave to not do mil stuff? Not the same thing. You seem to be sticking them all in the same blender and offering your hot take on it.

Just met a dude who credited 157 hours in May, 193 hours in June, and is up to 165 for July. Not a single trip dropped, worked his whole original schedule. He’s 60ish % ATL 737 A.

Seems like if you want the credit it’s out there. Guy couldn’t have been happier that the silver slips went out the way they did as he thinks it will make it easier for everyone else to get GS later this week. Good attitude about it and probably an accurate estimate.

If he flew his entire schedule with an ALV of 72, didn't do anything to drop, 120 hours of GSs, he worked 26 days. So it's lying about some details or he is literally never home

Can you please explain to me how this is possible? Seriously I'm dumb and want to know.

Looking at his schedule now for June, it is crazy. A couple of times where he worked the night after coming in from red eyes but those were easy WS deadheads. A 4 day OOBGS and a 3 day GS later in the month. Double holiday pay. Lots of RRPY. He wasn’t lying.

Ok, so 193 hours of Pay, but not 193 hours of credit. Got it, thx.

My bad that’s correct “pay” I guess instead of “credit.”

My point is why do you care what they are doing? You their boss? CP in disguise? Why do you care if they commit fraud? Mind your business and let them live their life the way they see fit to their benefit or detriment.
