Just got an email invite to take the assessment. Can't find anything super recent on this. Any pro tips? Thanks.
Do not take the assessment without preparation. You should have a little time before you are required to complete it. Pilot Assessment Prep offers a pretty good product.
Shape Sudoku was a tough one. I've talked to several folks who took the assessment without preparation who were unsuccessful. If you have not begun the process of getting your logbook squared away and having your application reviewed, now is the time. You will have one shot at this, put in the effort (not that you weren't planning on it). Congratulations on getting the invite and best of luck.

Commuters: How often are E175's payload optimized/weight restricted on a 90-minute flight?

I got bumped out of the jumpseat for weight once in the last roughly 5 years. They had an absolutely ridiculous amount of bags, I'm surprised they managed to cram them all in there.

While flying it, I don't recall ever being weight restricted on anything less than 3+ hours.

I’m resisting the urge to reply to his email with “What’s a grievance?”

I saw that and went WTF.

Tone deaf.

I'm basically redneck Rain Man and my dumb ass wouldn't have sent it.

It’s the same tone as all the emails that were sent during Covid. Different person but same position and same aww schucks that pesky union tone.

Yeah the tone sucked, but losing that grievance sucks worse. Now they can give a RES a 1 day trip then tag on 5 more and there's no reroute pay due.
