For some. But Delta isn't parking the 737 because people don't want to fly it.

There’s a lot of misunderstanding what HIPPA is and isn’t. Medical shops are run by lawyers and business people, not doctors, who will seize upon any opportunity to reduce expense and risk, so it’s in their interest to have it mis-characterized the way it is.

yeah i have no doubt there are doctors who refuse, but it’s not because of valid hipaa (or hippa) concerns, it’s because they don’t understand what the law is

Lol right! The irony in guys throwing out 'good morale character' when the company arbitrarily ignores state law because they disagree with it. Nevermind just disregarding the contract and/or past practices because they suddenly interpret it differently.
