Jet fuel more than doubled. Did Delta close the doors? No, they made massive profits.

Let’s not negotiate against ourselves.

If I said Mesa pilot should have these raises 2 years ago, Sailing and the water boys here would have burned me at the stake.

Now that it is a reality, they shift the narrative.
I don't know a single person who thinks the regional pilots don't deserve these raises. Not one.

This is what it should pay to fly a regional jet. But I think we all know that it is not sustainable at the regional airlines. The flying should be resorbed by the mainline and paid these rates on the mainline seniority list. All flying, 1 list. Time to end the outsourcing. Bring our jobs back to our lists.

Genuine question here, but what can Deltas financial actually support?.
Not a single airline in history has gone out of business for paying their pilots too much. It appears that several are on the verge of failing by paying too little….

I wish these rates were retroactive to 1999.

DOS 2022-8.5%

which is close to 30% on DOS, and full retro, is reasonable and achievable.
Don't forget Jan 1, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

not at all. Just talking about 2019 through DOS.

but since you brought it up. I think AFTER my example we need at least 8,8,8 for 2023, 2024, 2025.

Endeavor has a 6 month waiting pool to get in as an FO. Industry wide, there are currently thousands of pilots waiting to join the regionals, but they don't have captains to fly with.

The wage increases at regionals are for retention, there is no shortage of pilots.

There should be automatic increases in pilot pay past amendable dates.
This would penalize the company for dragging out negotiations in the future.

Also full retro pay of course
