Well, cause i don’t get a vote. All i can do is write my reps and say please don’t vote for her. And if we did have direct election I’d say the kind of leadership she would provide would be a little too militant to deal with the kind of management a delta. I fear the whole operating budget of our MEC would be spent on lawyers and court costs with not enough positive outcomes.

She's toxic beyond belief. She "ran for MEC Chair" last election as well. But she literally had about half a paragraph about the MEC election, and the rest was her side of the story of her fight with the company. In other words, she "ran for MEC chair" to get a free ALPA email push to the entire seniority list--I don't appreciate that.

She's doing it again, but now more like the worthless "hats off" campaign, she seems to be doing it as a giant "FU" to the company. She doesn't seem to me to have any desire to actually take the helm and assume the many duties of an MEC Chair.

Her email reads really great if you imagine it shouted from a balcony by Benito Mussolini.

Real Charlie Bryan vibes. (Eastern Airlines Mechanics Union)

But Delta isn't Eastern, and Ed isn't Frank Lorenzo.(thank god)

Nice little obit about him in Forbes. Love him or hate him, he was both colorful and a fighter. Very much a part of airline history, but , well, lots of asterisks to the story.

Last LCA meeting “management doesn’t care about hats and lanyards”

interpretation - hats are now optional, forever

I’m gonna go with that.

You do know how her fight with the company turned out don't you?

But playing devil's advocate, maybe we DO need someone that will send a giant FU to the company. I have been a koolaid drinking ALPA supporter for the VAST majority of my 31 years here, but the things I have seen starting with Ambrosi make me want to throw up. And as far as her using ALPA for a free email push, just how much free beer and pizza do you think the reps have eaten at all those Pub events? Have you ever been to one? How much free liquor have they drunk at the Ambrosi campaign parties? I'll bet you a pitcher of Margaritas that Ambrosi doesn't do a ****ing thing for the Delta pilots once his ass goes thru the door to DC. At least KP won't be campaigning for that job on our dime. And where you got that " she doesn't seem to have... of the MEC chair" I will never know. Have you even read her letter? The best part about it is how she will hold the reps accountable in the voting. And at least she has written a letter to us. Where are the other candidates' letters? (Hint: they don't need them because it is all in the bag already). The good ole boys club lives on.

And I'll bet Hartman and Kramers letters will read great if you imagine them being read by Neville Chamberlain.

Agreed.

The more you read the less you like of her.

Honest question out of ignorance... What's the expectation for Endevor pilots if Delta's pilots actually go out on strike? Holding picket signs and shutting its operation down or cover Delta's flying with its 900's?
