My first hand experience: EVERY flight I have deadheaded where Endeavor pilots were also deadheading had them in better seats than us. Usually both Endeavor pilots in Comfort Plus aisle or window and we were in main cabin. So there is something better about their deadheading policy at least in practice.

When you check in there is a very specific almost hidden selection you must make if you want a upgrade to EC. First is automatic, EC requires extra steps.

The gate agents also won’t come get you it EC opens after you board to main. Pick your poison - board late in hopes of an upgrade or board early and have space to stow your stuff.

When is the MEC Chair election?
Flew two trips recently, been in ATL quite a bit. I have seen 1 hat wearer in the last 3-4 weeks. Flight standards pilots I’ve seen have all been hatless. As with all big orgs, there’s a small segment that thinks they’re “insiders,” and that’s more important to them than representing the union. We’re all just numbers. |
