Getting paid correctly for a company error is not a windfall and not an overpayment.

Thread Bump with an update:

After a 15 minute hold got on with payroll and about 15 minutes later the lady (who was very nice) said the problem was solved and it would pay out on the October check. I asked if she meant the end of month advance check or the settlement check and she said the one in a few days (advance).

No payment at the end of October but I let it go till todays payment to see if it was on the settlement check for October and…..nothing. At what point is this theft? I’m sick of spending my off time chasing this down but it’s several thousand dollars they admit they owe me but refuse to pay. What’s the next step? CPO? Back to payroll? Checks in the mail?

CPO without a doubt. They have chased down two payrolls errors and both were paid on separate checks deposited within 72 hours.

Yep…same for me. A couple years ago this happened to me…5 minutes in the CPO and had a deposit in my account within a couple of days.

Get attorney. Have them file paperwork and go to court to get a writ of execution. You can then legally seize Delta assets as payment. Local sheriffs can then go to headquarters and seize office equipment/furniture/filtered water machines/maybe a paper tiger or two….. unless they pay up. Better yet, I think the seizure of a nice A350 an hour and a half before departure would be a great time for such activity.

Here is a similar story.

Default GS paid as WS

Flew a 5 day OOBGS in October and my paycheck was way short. After 20 mins talking to a scheduler today he figured out it was coded as an out of base inverse assignment white slip (whatever that is). He talked to a supervisor and said they would fix it on the next paycheck. Hoping this stuff doesn’t become more common.

You’re represented by a union and work under a CBA.

"Bank of America later apologized to the Nyerges in writing--but managed to misspell their name."

Must have been the notorious (fictional) Linda Green.
