I read it as an 11% retro/bonus/signing fee on money earned over the last 3yrs. Then 22% pay bump going forward, and 5% raises each subsequent year.

So the way you put it: yes.

Yes. Do people honestly think we're going to get 20%+ retro all the way back to the amenable date?!

Haha. Oh good. Our reps won't leak it to us directly through their various proxies. They leak it to AA pilots for them to spread on their forums. That sounds legitimate.

Not with that attitude we won’t.

Why does anyone take any of these "rumors" seriously?

Because just like the TUMI AIP at UAL, the rumors run amok, plentiful and generally completely off base right before the truth emerges.

It’s strange you are the only one they didn’t listen too

That's not how it works.

The MEC doesn't vote on an AIP.

Each section of the contract is its own AIP. Then the legal language is done which makes all the AIP's into a TA.

The MEC then gets 7 days to review the TA, then vote on whether or not to send to MEMRAT.

The MEC is present in RDU this week to be able to adjust guidance to the NC in near real time based on company counter offers. The NC can't make a an AIP if it doesn't all within the guide rails the MEC gave them.

Ok, sorry for my ignorance. I thought the negotiators produced an AIP, and it doesn’t become a TA until the MEC voted in favor of sending it to the membership.
