Criminal and civil penalties may apply, along with presumably disciplinary action by the company if you color outside the lines. Never been a company stock person; I was a bit I surprised after reading the ins/outs of potential pitfalls on the company employee website after my curiosity was piqued from this thread.
Company has names and phone numbers on the net you can call/email if you have any questions about what you can/can’t do. Seems much easier than rolling the dice and saying “I won’t get caught..probably.”

Over the past three years we have had hundreds and hundreds of pilots lost is the system NQ, sometimes for almost a year, some several times! I seriously doubt they have any resources available to look into trading options when we are cancelling flights due to staffing shortages.
