Heavy, but bullit-proof, other than having to tighten the corner screws once every other month. Suggestions?
I'm a big fan of the Aurora 22". The zippers and well placed, and it fits nicely on its side in the overheads, or in the 73 cockpit if you are commuting (or actually fly it).

That’s what I have too. It’s about 1/3 the weight of the standard crew bag and has lots of good internal and external pockets. I’m on my second in 5 years because I was way too hard on it and just had ti replace the handle. Had to use my wife’s Away suitcase. Now that’s a nice one. Glides so easy through the airport. Has me considering it.

Good to hear. Thanks for the recs. Away does look like it has a couple nice bags. (wife is looking to replace her 20 yr old SwissGear) Which one does your wife have?

RE: B&R... appreciate the info/perspecive!

iirc, some folks have had an issue with keeping the B&R version of a J-hook attached to the rollaboard... is that still a thing, or has it be updated?

TIA.

I have had the B&R spinner for 6 months now. It has been great. More durable than I thought it would be by looks. Also no need for hook. Just put other bag on top.

The J-hook is the one thing I hate about the bag. I had to make some adjustemtns to it, but the issue of it falling off the bag is sadly still there.

Just received my B&R spinner with first trip in a few days. Looks small...but loaded it with my normal 3 day load and there's room to spare, without expanding it.

The J hook design sucks. I fold it into my handle when storing it in the jet or crew van. That way I don't lose it when it comes unclipped. Someone with a 3d printer could sell me a $.01 piece of plastic for $20 to fix it and I'd be happy.

I love everything else about the B&R and would buy it again knowing the J hook sucked.
