I went to my fitting a few days ago. Looked like a flurry of activity in the ATL crew fitters area so I assumed it was going to be awhile. Nope, they saw me at my appointment time and I was done (fitted, measured, and checked out) within 15 minutes. They were very nice and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficient experience.

I asked them about the black since I had heard differently. They said this was what delta wanted. I laughed and said I can keep my pants then. He looked at mine and said looks good to me. That was a nice surprise.

Bottom line to all of you for whatever reason keep arguing with me about jackets - who is right and who is wrong? End of story. If you feel the need to not follow FOM guidance that’s on you, but please stop encouraging new hires to go out and buy North Face jackets cuz they going to end flying with captains that are not ok with that - present company included.
