DALPA likes things just like they are. DALPA, refuses to embrace technology in order to get more participation. They will make excuses all day long as to why this is impossible. They do not WANT more participation, because then pilots would start asking questions. Stay engaged, but stay ignorant except for what THEY tell you is important. ZOOM, Teams, and various other platforms would allow them to hold internet meetings. Ask them why they won't do that.

As to your suggestions, an 'education' campaign would be an 'indoctrination' campaign. ALPA knows it all, get in line and vote the way we tell you because this is the best it is going to be. (Change my mind)
I'm not going to touch your second one.

Standing by for the usual apologists.

I asked my rep what their accommodations were. He said they are staying in one of the training hotels, holding the meeting at the ALPA office building, and that breakfast will probably be catered by chik-fil-a.
Sounds like you need to chill the **** out, bruh

Yeah, go ahead and press the test button.

Just as the company has chosen to intentionally violate our contract for a price, the same can be said about this.

Precedent says he’ll get away with it for a while (category dependent), eventually get caught, likely get fired, then get his job back within a year or so. Pilots in certain situations (close to retirement, looking for more time at home) may come out ahead.

It may sound ridiculous, but it’s the same type of thinking that management is employing in its decisions to violate certain sections of the PWA.

Tell you what. I'll "chill the F out bruh" (love all the "look how cool I am" lingo you kids use) when they do something that actually moves the needle, Not publish another Disunity Statement or an asinine video from someone who hasn't flown the line in years and was told to look angry and tough in the uniform he only wears for public appearances.

You need to turn your cannon around and fire in the other direction.

I do love the irony of calling anything disunity while simultaneously leading the charge on slandering pretty much anyone involved with DALPA.

Lol right! This just further highlights the ridiculous nature of their stance.

See that's what you don't get. "ALPA" isn't "Unity". ALPA itself is split 8-7 and can't even row themselves in the same direction. "Unity" is the pilot group and we need to demand better leadership. Not a bunch of self serving company lap dogs who won't address this problem at hand. Who mostly created the problem by their weakness and caving in to the scary lady in RDU.

Exactly. Our pilot group is already unified. We become even stronger during times like this. Holding ALPA accountable for their weak performance over the past 6 months is not a display of disunity — it’s a statement of the fact that this pilot group deserves much better from ALPA.
