My NB fleet absolutely has had them dry up. Last month was dry, this month is bone dry. Blue days every day including weekends. To say that on workhorse fleets GS aren’t going anywhere is disingenuous. It depends on the fleet, and several have had them dry up legitimately, not just outlier one-off scenarios.

Would training for this AE most likely be Late May to early June for this bid? Also for the golden days - it gives you two options, can you can split your six days into two groups of three? if they cant build you a training schedule with your golden days does it just go into the next AE training cycle not pay protected?
thanks

Any gurus able to help out with base swaps on an AE?
If I switch planes but am unable to hold my initial base pick, is it possible to switch bases with the March, or any immediate future AE during training? Or am I to wait until training and OE finishes to switch bases?
Thank you in advance.

Lately, base changes have been available to nearly every NH on demand. As hiring slows, that may start to make it harder to move out of some bases, and/or into others.

As to the second: PWA 22.H.2. "If a pilot’s training is delayed due to the pilot’s selection of golden days, the pilot will train in the first available training footprint that does not conflict with their golden days."

You can change bases at any time, including on your first AE. All you need is one day on property and a submitted bid to change bases. Changing planes is another thing entirely, and cannot be done until you have at least 1 year on propety, and maybe 2 depending on your situation.
