In general, pilots have been green slip drunk for too long. I’m fairly senior in category and was getting them, but I’d rather have reserve coverage and the ability to easily adjust my schedule, or bid reserve and not get used.
Record green slips month over month was no way to run an airline and it showed in the company’s metrics.

Yup.
Finally got around to looking at a PAS. The “I bid reserve, make 150+ hrs a month, only work 10 days and bank a week full of payback days every bid period” are the outliers.
Soon to become extreme outliers.
