IN the store. Gas/charging doesn't count towards that.

We value simplicity and cash back. CostCo visa for gas (4%) and restaurants, flights, and hotels (3%), Citi DoubleCash for everything else (2%). I think we usually end up with a combined return around 2.4% without really even trying.

Costco removed the extended warranty protection (which was good, but now they sell the Allstate thing). you can still get roadside assistance, concierge services, and a 0% foreign transaction fee. It also has a $0 annual fee.

Since the Costco VISA is a Costco ID, might be worth mentioning a $60 Executive Membership gets you 2% additional cash back (on Costco purchases) and an additional year of warranty on electronics, etc ...

Had excellent service when I've needed anything from them.

Good to know, thanks. Will add the Costco card to all my EV charging apps (Electrify America, EVgo, Chargepoint, etc)

Is this why the lines to purchase fuel at Costco are always so long?? The price/gallon doesn’t seem to be much lower.

It is in my area. Today gas stations are all in the $2.80's. Costco is $2.47.

It’s especially true if you need premium. For me, it’s usually 60-70 cents cheaper a gallon at Costco.

The spread between standard and premium is generally .15- .25 per gallon lower at Costco. Ever notice the higher percentage of premium fuel vehicles compared to nearby stations? I get most of my 93 octane there. If you hate fuel lines try a 50A garage outlet. It's a game changer for daily driving.

Its usually about 35 cents a gallon cheaper on premium in my area.

For travel, dining, and international I use Chase Sapphire Reserve- priority pass restaurants are a game changer especially when you have 2 guests. Rental car insurance is a great perk and the travel credit is easy to use

I might get bonvoy brilliant or whatever gets me enough nights to stay platinum at bonvoy and for use at their hotels if I get to 3rd quarter and I am short on nights.

Do we get any points if we stay at a Bonvoy property (on an overnight), put the Bonvoy card on file, and then charge something to the card?

Does anyone use the branded credit card? Seems like not many on here do. Is it something to be avoided?
