Sounds like ALPA election season is coming up, and some of the reps want to be seen as good stewards of everyone's money. Got to balance out those pay raises they gave themselves and cars they bought. They still pay for alcohol at all their meetings, or just the PUB events?

I’ve been to a couple, and the food totally blows. Basically checks the box as bottom tier meeting room food I wouldn’t wish on internet trolls. You get better food at the free breakfast bar at the Hampton Inn.
The days I was there, it was breakfast only. The meetings were themselves mind-nummingly boring, ran from 9am to well after what I could tolerate. One day they changed the agenda to go to 6:30p, when I finally ran out of blood in my buttcheeks and left, the SLC rep was arguing with the DTW rep about something.

Ever been to an MEC meeting?

So sorry the free food the pilots provide you sucks, lol. At least the liquor is top shelf.
It's pretty clear from your posts that you're an ALpA insider, so don't act coy.

Every MEC meeting I've attended, I've been kicked out when some rando moves to close the session. A complete waste of time, for some who stuck around they noticed the meeting room partions are very thin and the doors are essentially echo amplifiers. It was funny for 3 minutes when the filters were removed and the personalities came out. The food sucked but the desert tray was suprisingly delicious. Usually I couldn't stick around for the free beer... early report the next day or kicked in the AM.

breath, but saying they’re incompetent in another, there’s not much to take from your posts other than LOLZ, but most of your stuff isn’t that funny.
Now shoo. My box of troll treats is empty.

LOL I couldn’t get elected as dog catcher. But since you think the congressional thing and the talky Captain were very, very sneaky ALPA ops in one

ALpA has very smart lawyers, financial analysts, and PR strategists at National. The local trough dwellers are a bunch of self dealing, knuckle dragging, surrender monkeys. This explains the alleged discrepancy in my posts. National = smart. Local = dumb. But national ain't here for us, they're here for ALpA. ALpA is a billion dollar corporation that justifies its own existence and survival so that the dues money keeps rolling in. Not really a union.
Now shoo, junior.

You may not have meant it this way, but this sounds like a very, very soft view on the company’s pay shenanigans.
The fault of any backlog is 100% on the company for not paying your correctly in the first place, forcing ALPA to do the heavy lifting for them. Put that blame where it belongs!
ACE has a ton of automation, both current and planned. Once the API data access is fullly implemented, all the groundwork that’s been done over the last several years call be realized, and the real-time violations found. There is a LOT more to ACE than meets the eye.
Before ACE, ALPA recovered $3-5M a year. It’s now $20MILLION a year recovered. About 5x the effectiveness. How is that not worth $7/month of your dues dollars. Especially when the MEC just voted themselves a big raise??

the price they are charging for this software is outrageous… I’m glad they’re bringing in competition to get this price back down to reality. It’s worth $0 without DALPA paying them, so there is a lot of leverage there
