Ace update?
“We received notice from DALMEC that we are no longer to provide service to all Delta Pilots. We have been directed to reduce the number of pilots who will have access to Ace by 2,933. We are unaware of which pilots are affected.
Please contact your Representative with any questions.“

But the email dosn't have a suspucious "please log in to secure you account" kind of hyperlink...it actually tells you to contact your Reps with questions.
Seems legit...my Rep said ALPA is crafting a response so standby as we speak

As of last fall (when I queried the MEC treasurer) DALPA was paying ACE $114k/mo. Are we getting our money’s worth?
No idea how much we’re paying now, but the email sounds like they are taking it to the pilot group after some kind of reduction to the agreement. Do we pay them per pilot?
When asking your reps about the email they sent today, ask about the cost/benefit of ACE. Also it might be interesting to dig around and find out who owns the company that runs the app, and if the owner has any connection to current/former MEC members. I’m not trying to be coy or play I have a secret (I don’t.) I’ve heard rumors and the whole thing smells a little funny. Particularly at that price tag.
Hopefully the email quoted above means DALPA is finally pushing back on price and/or pausing some features until the fabled “API access” finally comes to fruition and ACE actually starts providing some value via automation.

ACE was sold as an Automated Contract Enforcement tool. Without API access it is nothing more than a glorified ticket tracker.

Considering the thread thrashing over one-time vehicle purchases, it’s not a small amount of cash being spent on a recurring subscription basis.
Simply sharing what I came across last fall. I had every intention to submit a resolution to study the value of this…but I got lazy and didn’t.
Maybe someone else cares enough to shine some sunlight on it.

I’d say it’s worth every penny, especially considering the fact that we just secured back door access to all the scheduling data to unlock all of the real time ID capabilities. My understanding is this has been years in the making.

…heard it from a reliable source - that’s not it. ALPA national gave the pilot rosters to ACE, and that’s what ACE billed from. The MEC is apparently accusing ACE of overfilling, but that’s not possible when the billing rosters came from ALPA itself.
