My point being that PB doesn't have any more "power" to drop a day than a PD does. Unless PB is converted to SUPP and used as IVD to drop a day.

But you didn't need the PB day to kill the block right? Wouldn't a vanilla PD have killed the block the same way? And the PB used for something more lucrative?

If that's true, then I again stand corrected. This is a good thread for learning.

Can confirm that (at least in NB) the minimum day blocks do not matter when using a PD. Just dropped day 3 on a 4 day block to avoid getting dinged with a 4 day trip. Day 2 is a better day to drop, IMO. I don't know about WB.

I didn’t know you could use PD for individual LC days in the NB categories.
Just PSA I used IVDs this last two months as a junior ER A to immense advantage so anyone not sure about how they work I’d encourage them to look into it. They effectively can give a lot of time off in the summer to anyone no matter how junior (assuming 25% reserve coverage and non 4th of July footprint) , assuming you have vacation left over in SEP-DEC, which anyone junior should be able to get.

ahhh ok yeah I’m ER so that makes sense. Can’t use a PD to break up a 4 day stretch but can use a PB day. Same goes for IVD.
