I think they are good to gauge general trends. I only really followed the last 5 or 6 bids but they have been fairly representative. It's certainly foolish to try and sharpshoot based on a mid-bid but should give you an idea what the trends are. For example, if you're a 9000 number wondering if you can hold a captain bid and it gets down to 13k, you can get a feeling for what the final will look like; whereas previously it was a complete crapshoot until the bid was released.

So what's the bet on the "WB Wall" falling?

I have a pie in the sky NYC765/330 bid in because you never know, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the ER until I'm displaced from it in 5-15 years.

Looking at the 2-year trend analysis, December has gone only slightly more junior (creeping junior from summer to February). I'm guessing 23%-25% System seniority. My pie-in-the-sky bid still puts me three to four years out.
