Len Morgan once wrote that the Connie had red hot, exposed coils on the glare shield to defog the windshield. and that you grabbing one to adjust your seat was a mistake you only made once.
Looking at old pics is fun, but I suspect herding one of those things at 25k through summertime TRWs with no radar while the radio rack put off 15k BTUs of heat was less than an awesome experience.

If this 787-10 happens which it seems likely will it be a replacement for the 767-400, Older 330-200 and 330-300? If so the order would have to be for at least 50 airplanes Knowing Delta it will start at 25 with options and move up over the years.
How do we see the network looking in the 2030's if this happens?
My best guess would be:
1. 350-900 - All Pacific
2. 350-1000 - Pacific and ultra long haul SA and India
3. 330-900 - Deep, secondary cities in Europe and South america but more emphasis on NYC, BOS, sea basically what the 767 does today plus sea long range
4. 787-10 - mostly from ATL, DTW, MSP to partner hubs in Europe and larger cities (787-10) has shortest range of the dreamliner
