787-10 Order Imminent?

United’s Operating Revenue was $59.1B versus Delta’s $63.4B. If you truly keep it 1:1, subtract $5B for the oil refinery and United actually beat Delta in Operating Revenue.
I’m no mathematician, but you’re not even close lol
I’m just really excited our respective companies are healthy and thriving. Ridin’ this wave while it lasts 👊

Delta will be 60% of industry profits for the year. United made a hell of a lot less was my point (you’ll see that in your PS). Net income for Delta GAAP $6.2 billion against United’s $4.3 billion. United is supposedly in its growth phase full of ambition and it’s still lagging far behind. Delta’s growth phase will kick-off with the arrival of the 350K and end with the last 787, with another WB order to go. The gap will only widen. You tried man. The wave isn’t going anywhere👊

Subtract the refinery?? Why would anyone subtract anything. Bottom line, no matter where the cash comes from is what matters. You’re really reaching for straws😂. Let’s subtract $1B annually for your FA’s and mechanics that are being raked over the coals by SK these past 5 years?

I could go into the finer points of United’s performance and plans, number of organized labor groups, or JV, but no one wants to listen to the rah rah speech.
Your last sentence really highlights how you don’t truly understand the cyclic nature of our business. Then again, you could go “jk, I’m trolling” just like you did in the AUS Base thread 🤷♂️

If you wanna keep it 1:1, yes, you subtract the refinery lol You’re an airline, not a oil company is my point lol

no, no…go on. isn’t it your contention that dl has an unfair economic benefit because their fa’s are non union versus ual’s? any other “reasons” why dl’s market cap is 25% greater than that of ual? could it be the dl premium institutional investors place on the company?

The whole FA thing is an objective truth? The rest is that Delta has had decades to adjust the product and fine tune the premium offerings for the market. United has had a fraction of the time (in airline time). Product, network, JVs, etc… are all things that play into market cap (again, not going into the rah rah speech) and those things are dynamic and ever changing
