Did you notice on this current AE the reasons for the 73N spots? It only says to backfill retirements. Nothing about the MAX. Not saying you're entirely wrong but what is currently public isn't something that closes any door to another base entirely.

I don't know how so many people get ahold of info that seems like it would be proprietary information like this.
For the record, I know exactly what airplane I'm on. Can you tell my why the 739 suffers so drastically to the 321ceo? I can't tell. Besides the trapped dogs in the cargo

As someone who has been spending way too much in the back of our jets and have flown both the 73 and the bus the bus is just a bit more roomy. Wider and taller cabin, window seats feel slightly less cramped on the bus, overhead bin space is significantly better on the 321. The 737 airflow on the ground is terrible. The cabin gets pretty warm as soon as we get on the ground compared to the bus. The gaspers are useless. I don’t think the average passenger will notice as much as we do.

We are a little early to staff for the Max, IMO. It’s not like we will get 40 of them in Jan 27 either…

CEO-absolutely not
IMO the a 321ceo has the worst overhead bins of any of our narrow bodies except the 717.

There is at least 15% more 320 departure a day out of BOS right now than there was back in 2020 when they had announced BOS 320....so it is made sense then, I don't see how the numbers don't make sense right now.

I heard BOS737 MAX10 (from a CPO) about a year ago....apparently even though it will only have 180 seats (same as current 737-900), because it will have more premium heavy seating layout, that is what network wants in BOS.

FC = 20
C+ = 33
MC = 129
(182 total)
NEO
FC = 20
C+ = 42
MC = 132
73-900 (not the J/R config)
FC = 20
C+ = 27
MC = 133
MAX will have a bit more leg room than other NB jets. NEO is about 3ft longer than MAX.

It's got one more row of Comfort than the 737-900 - that's it. Same number of First Class.
