There’s been many times where I get one that starts with a DH. You can DDH and make it just fine.
Plus OOBWS goes before SC in 23.O. So I would not be in favor of your suggestion. |

I made the suggestion earlier that OOBWS should be removed from the 23.O ladder completely

The real question is why so many pilots are so adamantly willing to give away their leverage.
This is exactly what benefits the company. Sow discord amongst the pilot group to surreptitiously reduce our leverage as we approach section 6. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM FOR MAJORITY OF OUR PILOTS. I am ready to cash in our leverage to fix it ASAP. |

Maybe because we are getting nothing. We used to get premium flying. Now we aren’t getting anything. I don’t blame our pilots one bit. The company never should have let the scheduling department collapse. It’s great that pilots are getting paid to do nothing. Good for them. Meanwhile pilots like myself are getting hosed. I tried to pick up IA’s today that should have gone to me via GS. Watched them both go to pilots thousands of numbers junior while sitting on hold for 30 plus minutes. I never did get through to scheduling. Just gave up after trips were covered.

I say ALPA post the deal maker names publicly, it will be the IA Scrape list, cause it’s not to the serious level of a Scab :)

That part I understand, but 25-05 solves many of the issues causing division once implemented.

No it won't. Sure, QS will go out on seniority order, but they don't disincentivizes 23M7 farming. So then everyone will be angry that there's no GS, and everyone with a QS submitted is essentially going to be getting a category wide no batch size phone call for a slip that has no auto acknowledge.
Those are problems the MEC should have considered before giving away batch sizes. In the meantime, manage your phone’s DND settings. QS will have a leveling mechanism, which will offer some degree of predictability as to when it will be “your turn”. |

because the twelve minute timer means that 40 auto accepts delays trip coverage by 8 hours minimum.
you could staff ten schedulers per pilot and that would still be true. you could make batch sizes of one and it would still be true. now, it is a chicken-or-the-egg situation where large batch sizes caused pilots to start auto-accepting, but if the company quit doing large batches, you wouldn’t pull your auto accept, so we’re stuck with that delay, irrespective of “crew scheduling training and staffing” and batch sizes. |

That’s as good as it’s going to get without giving away concessions, and without negotiating a more balanced solution in section 6 that takes into account the sheer value of 23M7 / auto-accept.
