Prepare Yourselves... 2026 AEs

This can't be overstated. On average less than 150 pilots per year for more than a decade. Compared to what was it, 2300 per year at the peak, and now still averaging 1500 per year the last 5 years. That's a 10x rate and we were at the lower rate for more than double the time.

Got a hit on this last AE. Training says July and I have 2 weeks vacay then. I clicked the “retain vacation” box, but is that ironclad? I was just about to buy tickets and hotels but now I’m slightly uneasy until I see a sim date…..

I predict bos 330a in the coming year is going to go waaaaay more junior than this. Cool destinations and top pay for sure, but 13-15 days off flying a widebody working every weekend? Not what you expect I was shocked to see line awards with 13 days off but they can because the trips have min credit for a 3 day

This! Multiple lines of 17 days of flying in the current month...yikes! "Cool" destinations lose their luster when you've been there for the 1,000th time and/or you're working that much over the summer months. Here's hoping they can dump some of those.

not only that but when you are basically losing a day of sleep every trip, it really starts to compound when you get down to having 13 days off. It has become clearly obvious why they wanted this base to open.
