We might want to try for a minimum daily guarantee vs an average daily guarantee.
For instance with an ADG…. Let’s says there’s an easy two day trip that has both days below the ADG it incentivizes the company can add a really long third day to the front or back of the rotation which then makes the trip average out to be close
to ADG. Thus reducing our QOL.
With a min daily guarantee the company can add that long third day, but they have to pay you for it above min guarantee and they would have to pay you min guarantee on the easy days. With that said I’m not sure how many trips in the bid packets would pay more with the change.
I was told that SkyWest’s contract pays a minimum daily guarantee fwiw.
open to feed back… thoughts.

This is what I tell other pilots I fly with when MDG comes up. Not necessarily for or against it, just know that there's no free lunch and MDG would have consequences for trip construction. Our current trips wouldn't just magically pay more.

Touching ADG, is not smart, only for those that are workaholics, but then eventually life will catch up with them and will change their tune.

BOHICA. This summer is going to be “a little hot”.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a continual downward trend in schedule quality, specifically on the 320? It seems like every month that goes by the trips get worse with longer duty days, tons of block time and short overnights. Fewer and fewer good trips to even bid for in the first place. Plus the line credit window keeps getting pushed higher each month. I’ve noticed this specifically since about a year ago around Q2 2025 up through the current bid period. It seems nobody holds anything tolerable unless you’re in the top 10% in your base and seat. What is going on?? Is this all intentional by the company?

they are attempting to keep their word on that with 237 73NB spots (145 in ATL) on the current and previous AE. obviously too little too late for summer so definitely a big SMH to that.

Isn't that double counting? Unfilled vacancies from the last AE are replaced with vacancies from the current AE.

I have to ask for a source for that claim. Unfilled vacancies are for new hires. I acknowledge I could be very wrong but given the volume of new hires in April and May, I don't see how this could be carry over vacancies. I skimmed the current AE email and there's no reference to this happening at all.

While some ALV's have been the high 70's / low 80's a few times over the last 12 months, the TLV is little above 74 for the A's and little below 74 for the B's

Fact: Each AE resets the vacancies which may be given to NH’s.
