Anybody hear that Delta is now using Endeavor schedulers to help cover Delta trips? Saw something about it on FB.

What's next, hiring the Biscoff bakery manager to run flight ops?

Actually, that might not be a bad idea.

I'm surprised they didn't pull in Endeavor schedulers sooner. It's the same job, they're probably paid less, and our schedulers don't have a union.

If the bakery manager is good, they'd probably do better at managing flight ops than the Gummster.

Never heard of a Delta jet being cancelled because Biscoff couldn't get its product on board on time. Maybe not a bad idea to give the bakery manager a shot.

Delta needs to hire Chick-fil-A to run flight operations. They'd have things figured out in no time.

I'm not accepting or showing up for any trip assigned by an Endeavor scheduler. Is that even contractual notification by the company?

last weekend I was being skipped because a preposted trip two days out on reserve created a 30/168 conflict. Both the union and the scheduling supervisor agreed it should not have done that as any trip that weekend would have canceled the conflict later on-still waiting to hear back on my dart.

On the flip side... washing PB days was abolished only for Delta crew scheduling. Maybe Endeavor crew scheduling will approve it?

/S

I do recall reading something that OCC was having phone issues over the weekend, something something don't call your dispatcher because phones were down. Could have just been phone patching through a separate system.

I mean at this point shutting down the whole operation on Sundays probably would help get caught back up.

Fake news, no 9E schedulers.
