Good point ... at least we nailed it down so they could not do what Air Canada Jazz did and fly 757's trans Atlantic performing "charters."

The "entitlement" thing made me un-dude.

Here's to a better situation for ALL of us. Cheers.

Quick question guys, how are flow through agreements handled? Are they in your contract or a seperate deal? I keep hearing these BS rumors of imminent Pinnacle and Expressjet/ASA flow through agreements, which I do not see happening.

Dal wants them for their mufti million dollar corporate contracts. Duh! I don't blame em. What I do not like is the process that arrived us to this point. No more no less. I too agree its small potatoes and would not sway my vote one way or another on that single item. It's the background story and process that people are hitting on that makes its objectionable.
Can you explain your dislike of the Delta Private Jets part? I am not following you. Do you want them on our list? Delta doesn't own any of those jets, they manage them for rich guys when the rich guys aren't flying them.

As a side note, JAZZ lost the 757 contract. No more for them.

There are no changes to current book with Compass and Mesaba.

I doubt the talk of flow through agreements was any more than political eyewash which gets passed around at every contract negotiation.

Flow agreements facilitate outsourcing. I'd rather we hire "Delta Pilots" and give the guy a number rather than wasting time on a promise which more often than not does not end up happening (and when it did happen costs many years of longevity).

Might have tried to explain myself poorly. Have a White Russian on me.

Just trying to find someone who can tell me what loopholes have caused a disaster in the current contract before we tear apart a new one. Something huge something that really cost money or jobs not just the holding company thing. Except for one FM event and an 1113 robbery we voted on all the changes that we're unf'in right now. It's like that scene in The Departed where everyone who doesn't acknowledge you is a cop.

1 D 5 That's a loophole...
3 B 6 That's a loophole...
5 A 1 That's a loophole...
LOA That's a loophole...

So, around 12,300 would be a good conservative (on the upside) guess.

If you won a lawsuit, would you just roll over and say "nah, it's ok... don't pay me?"

We won the grievance. Now we just let it go?

There sure aren't any apparent gains from giving that up in the contract.
