All right boys, for the real disaster for tonight.
I'm off to the Mesa (AZ) Friday street fair to help Joe Momma and her friends set up their pottery booth. Then, I'll be the dunk guy in the little bar down the street hoping someone will come in and shoot me.

He stated that at an airline analyst's conference several years ago, it was publicly stated from the podium that the Delta pilot group is the most passive in the industry. I think that is what management expects. By the way, great to meet you today M! He is a frequent APC lurker. He recommended voting no and getting a better deal.

Talked with a retired Delta captain today. He asked me my opinion of the TA, and I gave it. I mentioned that I thought it would pass by a narrow margin, and I thought that T.O. was being passive and non-confrontational in his leadership. What's that Hall and Oats song? Oh yeah, "You're out of touch, and I'm out of time..."

No, actually he stated that the latest Delta had gone in the past was 6 months past the amenable date. He was astounded that the company went 7 months early, which shows they have something they want done badly...there is a reason it's unprecedented. As I've stated previously, this is just the "press to test" before the real deal is presented. His history goes back to 1980 when he was hired.
Three different ALPA airlines on my resume along with ALPA work at two of them. Seen many section 6's as well. Of all three, this is the most passive group as well as the most dysfunctional on the MEC leadership level.
Never seen so many people that blindly follow any direction given to them by those that they perceive who rank above them.
