1. This is the first management team that I've respected and been proud of. I like the way they're doing things. At least to this point. I'm willing to give them my vote for more success. 4. Finally, I see this, after serious review, as being a short term scope gain. I'm a football fan. When the climate is bad and you can't throw it deep for the big score, you grind it out on the ground. The current economic environment is like Lambeau Field in January. If its cold and the winds are swirling, you run the ball and dump it off for short gains. Ironically, that's how SWA has done it. We can all learn that lesson and not bank our hopes on a Hail Mary. Plus, as an LA guy, the fact that we're reclaiming 15% of the code share from AK makes me cautiously optimistic.

I'm voting yes after weeks of study, being ****ed off, and talking to reps and fellow pilots. This is a win, not a grand slam, but a win. I'm in.
