Nope, I call shenanigans. Well enough to call in sick is well enough to take the bid for additional flying out of the system before it is awarded.

Circumstantial evidence sure suggests blind fishing, catching something ugly, and throwing it back, screwing other pilots who reacted to the bid & award.

My gosh...the latest MEC negotiation update notepad thing was nauseating. Pure downward pressure on our expectations.

I wish DALPA would get the message: Stop lowering our expectations. It's an utter waste of time. Stop telegraphing the company that you can be steamrolled. Even if you didn't lace up your gloves, DALPA, you can rest assured Delta pilots did. And we are not going to roll over for a scope sale, less-than-cost-of-living wage increase, or anything of the sort currently percolating from the DALPA peer to peer guys.

Delta touts itself as the industry-leading airline. OK. Than it shouldn't be a surprise that we require an industry-leading salary, benefits, work rules, and contractual protections...and will grant ZERO scope relief. ZERO.That's what we rate and that's what we demand.

Enough dancing and diversion, DALPA. Deliver, or depart.

Fact: There was not even an attempt to recapture in scope on the opener (at least the one we saw).
Fact: DALPA is aiding and abetting the company when DALPA tells us we can't get an industry-leading contract
Fact: DALPA guys have (not so subtlety) been floating this 717-for-scope nonsense

As far as the other points, I haven't seen any attempt by an actual ALPA person to minimize expectations. I am a little curious about Shiznit's little "feeler" on Scope, and I'd have a open discussion about that with you, except you're just an obvious DPA salesman, and why waste time with a salesman?

Just be honest about it, and move it over to the DPA thread.
