Because The Manager said that my huge ego wouldn't allow me to stay away until the vote was in.. He mad a bet, and now I expect him to pay up. After that I am leaving this place for good. I didn't miss it while I was away, and there is too much immaturity here now to make it worthwhile to stay. Sorry if I offended anyone, but facts is facts. This is a good deal, and it is gonna put a lot of money in the pockets of DAL pilots.

FWIW.... Just spoke with a friend of mine that runs the Crew Outfitters stores and was told that they had been informed that hiring is going to start this fall and not stop... They are one of the main uniform suppliers so, hopefully, this is true....and not at the Heavy RJ providers...
Comair's starting to resemble the movie "Titanic" when the ocean is finally coming over the deck and everyone finally understands what's about to happen. I'm sure when we get September's schedule the lights will flicker and then go out, the stern will start to rise out of the water, and the real screaming will start. Not to mention all the F/A's cats in the water. So mainline hiring would be nice.

Section 1.
Solid scope language overall, focussing on block hours and jobs while limiting the potential number of authorized 76 seat jets, closing the jumbo turboprop exemption, better furlough protection, better code share language, better joint venture protections. I think ALPA did a great job.

uh, Nope. not hiring soon. look at later next year and only 100 or so....
Well, I thought it would pass at around 63% so I had that right. So disappointed... I hope I'm totally wrong and everything is great in 3 years, I really do... Well, more $$ I guess, and we'll see on the next AE if I continue to slide backwards.
I want to say "Thanks" to FTB and ACL and gloopy in particular for some outstanding research and graphical analysis. I read everything the union sent me, and I still think that the best info and analysis I got was from you guys. So thanks for your diligence and sharing of your brainpower, it was not wasted even though the vote went as we expected, not hoped.
