New harlequin novel......

He grasped me firmly, but gently, just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room.

Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone. He approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear.

"Just relax."

Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves, slowly but steadily.

My breath caught in my throat. I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure.

When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes.

My pulse was pounding. I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my rib-cage. Then, as he cupped my firm, full bosom in his hands, I inhaled sharply.

Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine to my midsection.

Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought, used to taking charge.

A man not used to taking 'No' for an answer.
A man who would tell me what he wanted.
A man who would look into my soul and say
. . . .

“Okay ma'am, you can board your flight now."

Yup, that program is already in place. Of course the jobs are in Trainer, PA and require a background in petroleum processing.

Soon as the lie-flat mods are done (Nov) they will be properly staffed. Add early outs and they will be short. Predict awards/reinstatements to both 744 seats.

Bond funds are the worst. If you have to have bonds, purchasing a basket of individual bonds is the best course of action. Just remember, the face value of the bond can go down and be less than what you paid for it. The interest payment will continue to be made. But, you just lost your principal.

Bonds funds exacerbate this problem. You lose the value of the bond and the interest payment continues downward at the same time.

While I understand that you are looking for something to do with your cash, you need understand that there is always risk, there is no guarantee of safety either.

Don't be lazy about it. Take the time to educate yourself about investments. Nobody loves your money more than you do. (Except maybe ALPA)

Went to a Fidelity seminar recently and they had their 'bond team' there. They said that most of their bond funds were into short and intermediate term bonds. They are in a position to move quickly, however they don't seem to mind the impending rise in inflation that invariably will be here soon. I don't think bond funds are the worst. They are not great, but, the alternative is putting your money under your mattress.

I agree, DYODD however I have been modestly happy with my bond funds as a part of a balanced portfolio.

Some of us have smaller goals. Just open up a spot for me out west. Preferably in LAX!

D/FW Airport plans for international expansion
Dallas Business Journal by Matt Joyce, Staff Writer
Date: Tuesday, July 17, 2012, 2:30pm CDT

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport CEO Jeff Fegan says the airport is likely to add 26 new international destinations served by eight new airlines in the next five years
Matt Joyce
Staff Writer- Dallas Business Journal

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport* * is planning for significant growth in international destinations in the coming decade, a change that could position it to be one of a few “global portals” in the world.
When it comes to international flying, D/FW Airport currently hosts 12 airlines that serve 48 international destinations.
Airport CEO Jeff Fegan said the airport’s projection for the most-likely growth scenario over the next five years includes adding 26 new international destinations served by eight new airlines. That includes direct flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona, Istanbul, Lima, Quito, Bogota and other cities.
The low-growth scenario envisions 18 new international destinations served by six new airlines, while the high-growth scenario envisions 35 new international destinations served by 10 new airlines, Fegan said.
“These are all markets that we’ve had discussions with, or we’ve had indications from airlines, or from our outside experts that these are markets that can be supported,” Fegan told the D/FW Airport board of directors during a recent annual retreat.
Mike Boyd, aviation consultant and chairman of Boyd Group International, made a presentation to the board during its retreat. He described the industry as developing toward "global portals" that serve at least 80 or 90 international destinations, while also providing enough connectivity to domestic destinations to meet market demands.
“The idea that being a businessman coming from Shanghai, going to Sao Paulo, where is he going to connect? And how do you make enough connectivity to smaller markets? It’s called a global portal,” Boyd said.
Dubai, with 120 to 130 global destinations, is the world’s only global portal at present, Boyd said. But airports in the United States, particularly Houston, Atlanta and D/FW, are competing for the same kind of business in North America.
“You do have competition for global portals that are going to move people from one continent to another continent over a central spot,” Boyd told the D/FW Airport board. “That’s going to be the name of the game for the future.”

and i just emailed that out.

and i finally figured out what all of the 50 shares of gray and magic mike talk is all about. FB has made no sense for me for a while. I'd much rather talk ratios and pwa's and 88-isms.

Don't let it force an important acronym out of your head like MAAPPPPP.

"It has something to do with non ILS approaches but I'm not sure what. I just wanted to use LAVS, but was instructed to use MAAAPPP or something. It was easy to remember, it was a bunch of M's, A's and P's. I forget the number of each though.

So then it was my turn to brief, and my brief went something like this... LAVS.

I was not liked that day."
