It's like the Marines say; If the minimum weren't good enough, it wouldn't be the minimum!

evidently Delta then let's Mr. ER, or as we know him The Newk, take the car to Europe:

I believe that this car is a Peugeot RCZ. If the flight was indeed coming from France, that would back up my guess.

Nah, if it was a Peew-git, why would they bother to throw a tarp over it when they drywalled the roof of the cargo bay?

Hoser, in regards to your golden day incident, have you contacted Curtis over at ALPA? He's the former scheduler and worth talking to. Just follow the command prompts on the phone when you call there and you'll get him. He's helped me twice thus far.

I sent an email to the alpa scheduling folks a few days ago. Tonight they called me with a one hour report time on short call. Heck, sometimes it takes and hour just for the employee bus!!!! Is laughing at the scheduler a bad thing??

Or just grind one out and it doesn't matter. ;)

I think our young Comair, soon to be Deltoid, is dreaming of young NYC FA's slobbering drunk at the Kew Club. Tossing and grinding.......UNDERBOOB PLEASE

I'm hearing from friends tonight, big announcement for Comair tomorrow at 830am ... and it isn't good news for them. Anyone else hearing the same?

"Early Out" AirFrance style:

6 months pay as bonus to temporarily work for 3 years at Dutch budget carrier Transavia...

Air France is offering a massive bonus of up to six months' salary to pilots who agree to move to its new low-cost Transavia unit, a spokesman said on Thursday.
A company source said that the sums being offered to pilots were as much as 60,000 euros ($70,800).
Air France last month said it would slash more than 5000 jobs, or around 10 per cent of its workforce, in voluntary departures by 2014 as part of a vast plan to make the struggling French airline profitable.
A total of 5122 jobs are to be shed and the carrier said that all departures would be voluntary provided a new framework agreement can be signed with unions.

One of the ways of cutting job numbers is to get the pilots to work for Transavia for three years.

Sounds like a bribe to help start up an alter-ego. Once its up and running, they hire new kids with the promise of a quick upgrade.

It's a Porsche Cayman. Base price $51,900.
