Yep, DAL is still seeing 2010 as a year of recovery. I hope they are correct.

They also said 2003 was going to be a year of recovery...

Ditto that! I keep telling people that every New Year I hope for nothing more than a boring, uneventful year. A stabilization of bad news would be great for me.

I agree. It was also the reason I stated I hoped they are correct.

Our forecasts have been wrong for the last two and a half years.

Hey guys what is a PF day on one's schedule?

acl65pilot 07-20-2009 05:48 PM

PF not PR?

PR is a partial payback day from an inverse assignment or a green slip whilst on reserve.

Nu I also agree with the premise that junior DAL-S guys will take a hit now for quicker movement in six to seven years. If you take your projected percentile and run it for your entire career, it is basically takes the same course only about five years earlier.
Either way I am in the top 20 when I retire and the top 2% for almost the last decade. I personally see this and do not mind a downgrade or two. It is what it is. No sense in getting upset over something you cannot control.

ACL your projections are all based on the company being static, DL not buying anyone else...or DL not getting bought. As we all know, the airline industry is not static.

Sure you're not, huckleberry.

I wouldn't have come along if you could get your "facts" straight. You are wrong, you have been all along, about just about everything. Yet you keep on throwing things out there, seeing if anything will stick.

Would be nice for them to err on the bad side of things for once. :)
