Gents from both sides...

The SLI is what it is... we're left with whatever perceived victories or losses we are left with. It's quite juvenile what has come from this latest discussion, whoever you want to blame.

Live with it and don't dwell on it! Your blood pressure will benefit. It's not Nicolau or anything like it... be glad. We're just along for the ride now no matter how much you b!tch about it or not.

Whoever claims to truly anticipate career expecations or anything of the sort.... can I offer you some beautiful ocean front property just outside of Scottsdale?

FWIW.... I consider the arbiters' award as fair as it could be. I would have been much much more senior on the DAL proposal, and much much more junior on the NWA proposal- each of which were considered fair from their point of view.

Good post, newKnow.

Not at all, I called you out, and you were wrong. That is adding something, accountability and credibility. You really should quit now. it's only going to get worse. It is clear that you guys do not understand what exactly the pull and plug was.

The beautiful thing is that no one needs to understand it, they just have to live it.

I agree, it was a compromise on both sides. That is why it went to a third party arbitrator. Now we cannot blame each other. It is also the reason that this has remained civil so far.
I am guessing that if the mud keeps going back and forth it will get ugly and you guys will be responsible for the moderators shutting this thread down.
If we want to fight this, go to the mergers section, and keep the "latest and greatest" just that.

Ya'll have a great day!

Wow capn, thanks for responding to this before Bar edited it away.

Bar, from your recent posts, I had interest in reading your thoughts. That's why I had heartburn over what you were saying. But I had no idea you had this level of contempt for the DAL-N guys. Thanks for clearing it up. I won't bother even attempting dialogue with you.

Wow.

Carl

Carl;
There are many of us that want the dialogue and openly welcome you to the table. I am one of them.
Both sides bring a lot. Lets focus on where we are going, not where we were or where we could a, should a been.

Well Carl, if you ever retire and are fishing out on the lake with your grandson it looks like you'll never be lacking for a subject to talk about. Don't know if he'll keep listening after a while, but I don't think that'll stop ya.

Anyone here got a forward looking idea where the USAir gate exchange in LGA may take the new DAL if/when it happens?

100 seater?

LA and Seattle gates?

Hat and tie relief? leather jacket?

Compass integration?

Skyteam airlines?

New F/A hiring?

where are the 777's going to fly?

will 777's be moved from jfk to dtw?

what markets are giving the best yields?

is nairobi back on in the fall?

if I decide to commute to DTW, where are the cheap, but safe areas to buy a commuter pad?

I'm lighting a candle and singing kumbaya.

I welcome it too, as long as it is constructive and productive. If it isn't, well, I point that out too. I've been willing to move along for quite a while now, but sometimes you have to push back against incorrectness.

Could one of you DALS guys breakdown the 757/767 categories for me. Which ones fly INT and where each are based etc. Thanks in advance.

Yes, and going forward looks good for the DAL pilot group.
