It's not like they're doing the same job as the much more highly paid normal season refs, and can be used at any time to bust up their union-like activities hey?
That's just stupid!

I'm sick of hearing about GoJet. TSA pilots should have taken control of that flying when they had the chance. They voted it down. Another stupid move by ALPA. End of story. This is a Delta thread not a regional thread.

PS there's NO "S" in GoJet! It just shows your lack of knowledge of the subject.

Ok... Pet peeve and rant are over! LOL. Now where is the new underboob and September Schedules?

Having the bids process start a day ealier must have been a management ploy to give them an extra weekend day off!

Eggsactly. Bids due a day earlier, and results two days later.

Hey Fellas,

Why all the talk of an AMR merger? Have there been some recent articles, or more of our dot-connecting?

Closing the bids earlier was a DALPA request. They were experiencing to many problems with pilots entering bids at the last minute and no one being around to help them on the IT side. The new closing time has no effect on when the bids will be produced since the people who run the bids show up at 8 am. I don't like the new times but they believe it will lead to fewer issues and pilots unable to bid.

ACL and an inebriated Scottsman had the same idea on roughly opposite ends of the planet at approximately the same moment. The idea resonated will all those followers who pray to God that Delta will reopen a Dallas base, reaching critical mass shortly after midnight on Friday the 11th. The concept reached self awareness the following Monday.

Given that "capacity reductions are our leverage" Delta is excited that they could acquire, and shut down, another airline, creating "leverage."

Technically, we have been de-leveraging the airline ... unless we plan on massive debt to acquire, then slowly destroy, the airline we acquired.

Reference:
  • Northeast (aka US Air and Northwest)
  • Western (aka Alaska and Southwest)
  • Pan Am (aka Air France, KLM, Virgin & OneWorld)
  • ASA ( aka Expressjet, Skywest)
  • Comair (aka GoJets)
  • Northwest ( aka capacity growth at Alaska, FedEx, Atlas, GoJets, and Air France)

Perhaps before you quoted it, you could have given it a courtesy re-size.

Your penance for posting that over sized pic is to reflect on the actions of your Weiner.
