Thanks for the update...sounds like the captain was the tool you made him out to be!

Default Flowup Question/Comments

Compass has a mandatory flow up of 20/class up to something like 100-150/year(?). Mesaba still has 9/class for around 100 total flowups(?).

Classes in '07/'08 were about 30/class with one class being 50 (heard it was challanging due to classroom space).

So if the rumors are true and we hire this spring, that leaves about 1 off the street or any random recallies that decide to come back for about the first 4-5 months of hiring.

At least Section 1.D.11 is covered by this flow agreement.

That bites for all the mil guys (AF specificically) that are just now finishing up their 10 year commitments....

This is not bait, I was just unaware of the extent to which the flow reaches and I bet there are a lot of anxious mil guys who were not either.

Compass is 20 per month, with no more than 25% of the total Compass list per rolling 12 months. And it's only the people who were on the Compass list when they were sold to Trans States.

Mesaba is 9 per month. I don't see any particular other restrictions. There is a number limit of how many will be offered flow-up, it's probably 100 or so like you said. But that's 12 months worth of hires from XJ.

Good point though - if the classes aren't bigger than 29 or not run more often than once a month, there won't be outside hires for a while.

Sorry, Innotech in Montreal was bidding on replacing the tail. I had one of their guys as a tech on plane. Owners were pushing to total it because the damage history would always decrease the resale value. I thought it should go back to the factory, bug I guess not.

Its 20 per month, not 20 per class. DL can basically get around that by running realy large classes and/or multipile classes per month. It'll be a moot point though if there really ends up being lasting hiring as they will hit their yearly max numbers either way.

The flow throughs and Mil leave/bypassers will fill all the classes for the next few years. 2015 for outside hires. Wait and see.

Copy, just re-read that. The same for mesaba, 9/month. So half the class if they do the standard 30/class, 2 classes a month.

Based on corrections above, it may not be that bad. It just means it takes flowups out about another 3-4 months, but at less of a density. Which seems appropriate since they've already "interviewed" and have been on a B-scale.

MLOA guys come and go all the time and it sounds like most furlough bypassers have moved on. The flowups do end around 2015, however.
