Bar,
It felt like the up-beat post I submitted, received a similar response from you... i.e., attacking me as an "I got mine" kind of guy (which couldn't be further from the truth). Maybe I misunderstood your post.

Hey, when you got nothing ... go with the personal attack.

It appears as though there is going to be at least one more round of displacements from 767 Domestic and the 320 Right Seat. The angst goes up in the fall as these things are announced every year. Everyone was hoping for a little forward movement, which more than anything else would come from new hires staffing the Douglas equipment coming on property and everyone remaining status quo, or perhaps moving up a bit.
While we are all happy to see more mainline jets, displacements to staff them are not met with a lot of cheering from the junior folk.
Contemplating tuning my 12 string to open C and giving Slowplay a break for a little while.

I have two friends who are gazillion milers ... HVCs. They HATE this part of the video. I've told them to go to the website and comment about it.
Well, I sure caught hell for it. Fair enough.

No hiring until late 2013 (thanks yes voters). Do you all remember when we were voting on the contract and a memo came out saying if we voted this in we may need to hire by the end of this year? I can't believe so many people fell for that.
From JG's weekly update:
"Depending on the outcome of the push for more HND slots, we could see Network pursue additional Narita over-flight opportunities."
Not a good sign for the NRT operation.

I won't comment on the rest of the post but my "crystal ball" says there will be more than one more displacement in the future, at least off the domestic 767. When Delta starts parking 757's as we are getting 737-900's, where do you think the displacements are going to come from? In my mind the domestic 767 is the, for lack of a better word, "perfect" category to cover these displacements. The company wants to get rid of the category here is a taylor made way to get rid of the category......

Not sure how you see hiring at an earlier point without a new deal.....

However, there are a whole bunch of variables no one knew precisely (how many early outs, summer 13 block, etc)
