Research Gulfstream Airlines. When you park wholly owned Saabs operated by a much more reputable airline(Mesaba), & replace them with an operation who has been caught using car parts on their airplanes, you don't send safety vibes to your customers.

Also, Silver Airways(formerly Gulfstream Airlines) is where CA Marvin Renslow of Colgan 3407 received his "training". This is the pilot who pulled through the pusher after he stalled a Q400 on final approach.

Gulfstream is also where the captain from the comair crash went, the crew from pinnacle 3701, and the crew from the pinnacle Milwaukee off road adventure. So yeah, pretty good track record but know one knows because its called silver now. Just like value jet and AirTran

I was wondering about this one too. Extinguishment would be a given. Ducks must be lining up.

All good points. Nice avatar BTW. I take no joy in 9E's troubles, but your sense of humor displayed by your avatar made me laugh.

I concur with everything above. Smith was shown the door by the O'Malley administration. That alone is good enough for me. Good letters by Smith and Nestor.

Two other ALPA insiders who I did NOT vote for- Gomez and O'Mahoney. I don't know the other two but they got my vote. I also voted for Hamilton along with Smith. JMHO.

Vote all incumbents out! Unfortunately, when they become unelectable, they get appointed positions.

IMHO our incumbents did a great job. They are not running again, with the exception of Armando. Any time I had a question or concern the C44 Reps addressed it quickly, efficiently and correctly.

Hopefully we all vote based on our own research and knowing what that person stands for. At their best, Reps are humble servants to tirelessly work to improve the careers of their pilots. I think all who are running have expressed clearly "my agenda is your agenda" or something of the sort.

...and both pilots in the pinnacle 3701 (410 it dude) and MKE (no fatalities thankfully) accidents, as well as the FO on the comair Lexington accident.

I'd like to get ahold of some of the 9% bonds...
