Any truth?

Rumors but it could be done to a tablet in the next few years. Very possible.

You tell me. ;)

For now. DAL has committed to installing Satellite Internet on its International Fleet. Announcement was about three or so months ago.

If we finally get to this, it could very well be a paperless cockpit.

And yes, it does indeed feel a bit like having jumped from 20 miles up.

Dropping mine off at the accountant this morning. I feel your pain.

The best would've been a "Ya'll watch this..."

I haven't read a follow up but when they caught him on camera tumbling they stopped the feed, didn't they?

Researching skydiving records can be fun and educational.

For instance, did you know the record for largest formation of nude skydivers is 23.
Set over Batchelor, Australia in 1988.

I watched part of the replay and didn't see them stop it. Saw him tumbling and then stabilize (when I was viewing it I didn't notice any pauses; maybe it was because it was a replay). When he stabilized there were cheers from the control room and the family was relieved.
