He and I have very divergent tastes, needless to say.

I have done option strangles and spreads and sold naked puts, so please don't try to educate me on how to trade calls and puts. My DC plan went up 109% last year doing covered calls and other option strategies. Now maybe you can educate me on contango and backwardation and negative roll yield as it relates to the futures markets. I trade futures too, care to educate me on that?

I've been trading (and teaching as a former broker) in the options market since '87, so I know a thing or four (thankfully, mostly forgotten). Moron? Nope- you're the one who asked the question about what it would be worth ("Any math geniuses out there?") Then you said "That's like me holding 3,000 shares." Not quite. You have the option to buy 3,000 shares. My apologizes if you misspoke. In former teachings, this would often be stated and it got people in trouble who were new and just learning the CBOE. Good luck to you in your short term trade. A price pop tomorrow and Friday will be nice in your position. After a few "lessons" on big losses (after big gains), I leave it to the gamblers.

Really? You expect us to believe that? I mean Really?

That apple don't fall too far from the tree!

If you don't believe me, just get in line for some of Momma's Milk!:D

You have the same tastes, but you're lucky if there's any left for you!

So why are you an airline pilot and not a full time investor?

I was reading hotair.com one day (political website) and they had this clip from this Ph.d. psychologist researcher type on porn. They were trying to find a control group, young men late teens or early 20s or so that had never watched porn, they didn't find any for the control group. They literally could not do the research if I remember right.

Then they found something interesting, they found a control group of guys who stopped watching porn. I think these guys were in their 20s. They tried to figure out why they stopped watching porn and eventually found a common reason... :D erectile dysfunction. :D So there, drop that little one liner in during "the talk."

Bingo. You totaly took my response. There is a guy at my church that quit being an M.D. to trade full time. I don't know what his rate of return was last year because HE DOESN'T TELL ANYBODY!

Oh Lord. I'm sure you're smart and all, and most definitely much more well-to-do, but.....I can't imagine a 5-day with you.

Bingo+1. Most of the time it's because the one's who do talk about the big up years, never talk about the big down years, at least in my experience. ;)
