I honestly don't know how junior FOs live in Southern California without a military retirement and book royalties. Sure, most commute (as do most CAs) but I don't think most guys WANT to fly to the max. There are a few that I know of but not most. With the pay cuts and benefit cuts we took, most of us have to fly our ass off to make ends meet. I relish the day when airline pilots are, again, compensated for the responsibilities we have. When we can, again, make more than the ATC guys we're chatting with. Then we wouldn't have any guys hitting the max limit by choice.

So...in 2016, you might be getting paid just a little bit less than the same seat paid in 2004. Got it.

Good thing the price of...everything else, has not gone up in those 12 years, right? Hey, at least the Anal-cysts will still be able to buy a round trip tiket for less than $400, just like 1983!

At Delta when we run out of WS's we get paid double pay for picked up flying. Really stupid to reduce that to time and half or eliminate the cap for WS's. Our system is superior in every aspect as far as overtime.
Sailing;

I know we are on the same side, but you and I will never agree on this topic.

His paycheck for that month might equal what we get for 80 hrs. Sad.
I still voted no for this contract.

I agree. He wasn't happy about it either. They flew him all over. As far west as HNL, and as far east as CDG.

I wasn't posting any opinion on it, just a statistical fact. Got it?

There's a simple reason. Delta did a few things right with Trainer.
