Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
If DALPA can't do anything about AS adding routes(which they absolutely CAN'T just like DL management) then just exactly HOW are they ceding ground to a competitor? What do you expect them to do? Formally protest? And what do they protest? The marketing actions of a completely different airline? And how do we know that there is demand for more flights, simply because AS added routes? I really don't know what you expect DALPA to do. They successfully tightened the restrictions in the Alaska marketing agreement.

Maybe the reason pilots don't do cartwheels around here is that every month they see they're in about the same spot they've been for years. Gets old. And I don't mean just on the overall seniority list but also in their individual category if they've been there a while.

I wasn't speaking from an employment standpoint, although I wasn't clear either. It just seems there is a lot of pressure on young women to conform to a standard that often isn't realistic. I'm not saying its cool to just let it all go, but I think the woman in the earlier picture was clearly not fat.

One of the guys that voted for Prater is running for C20 (BB). You can thank him if you're junior. If he hadn't voted the way he did the age 65 train might have had a little more delay. His votes for Prater swung the election and age 65 was delivered less than a year later.

johnso29, your post is so full of fail I don't even know where to start.
Yes, because we all know DALPA has always negotiated ironclad contracts; no contract ever signed by DALPA has ever contained loopholes. And management has never exploited our ambiguous contract language before. YGBSM.
I simply cannot believe a Delta pilot is just fine giving away Delta flying. We've already given up plenty. Why should we be at peace with that? Our goal should ALWAYS be to fly "every single flight Delta Air Lines is associated with." You are trying to convince me that we should continue to support the erosion of our careers. Your naivete boggles my mind.
So tell me, johnson29, when will you have a problem with code sharing, outsourcing, etc? Surely there is some point at which even you will stop defending DALPA enabling our competitors' growth at Delta pilots' expense. I've reached that point. Exactly what is that point for you?
These aren't loopholes. They're written in our contract. I don't know what loopholes you're referring to.
If we as Delta pilots could fly every single flight Delta Air Lines is associated with that would be awesome. But we can't, becuase it isn't feasible. That really isn't hard to see. Look around the industry

You're barking up the wrong tree, Purple. johnso is very much a scope hawk.
